The Latecomer Notification feature in WEXL ERP lets teachers notify parents when their child arrives late to school. Notifications are sent as SMS messages to the parent's registered mobile number, ensuring effective communication and encouraging punctuality among students.
How to Access the Latecomer Notification Feature:
Login to WEXL:
Open the Chrome browser and navigate to https://console.wexledu.com/#/login.
Enter your username and password, then click Log In.
Navigate to Notifications:
On the Homepage, locate the bell icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
Click the bell icon to open the Notifications Panel.
You will see an option labeled Send Notifications.
Select Notification Type:
Click Send Notifications and choose between two options:
By Grade
By Section
For latecomers, select By Section.
Send a Latecomer Notification:
Type Latecomer in the Notification Title.
Select the relevant Section.
Choose the student’s name from the list of latecomers.
Set the Template as Notification Type and the Category as Latecomer.
A default message will be displayed.
Review the details, then click Send to send an SMS notification to the parent’s registered mobile number, including the student’s name and the date of the late arrival.
