# How to attempt ELP?

#### **How to Access and Use the ELP Program**

Follow these detailed steps to log in and start attending your assigned ELP modules:

**Step 1: Open the Browser**

Begin by opening the **Google Chrome browser** on your device.

**Step 2: Enter the URL**

In the address bar, type the following URL:\
[**https://console.wexledu.com/#/login**](https://console.wexledu.com/#/login)

This URL will take you to the login page of the program. A visual reference is provided below for your convenience.

**Step 3: Log In to Your Account**

1. Open the Chrome browser and navigate to <https://console.wexledu.com/#/login>.
2. Enter your username and password, then click **login** to access the portal.

**Step 4: Navigate to the “MY ELP” Section**

Once logged in, you will land on the homepage. Locate the **left-side navigation bar**, where you will find the **MY ELP tab**. Click on this tab to proceed.

**Step 5: View Your Assigned ELPs**

The **MY ELP** page will display a list of ELPs assigned by your teacher.

* **Newly assigned ELPs** will be displayed in **red** to indicate they have not yet been attempted.
* **Completed ELPs** will appear in **green**, denoting successful completion.

#### **Understanding ELP Components**

Each ELP is divided into five key components that focus on different aspects of the English language:

1. **Listening**
2. **Speaking**
3. **Reading**
4. **Vocabulary**
5. **Grammar**

To start working on an ELP, students can simply click on the icon corresponding to the desired section.

#### **Detailed Guide to Each Section**

**1. Listening Section**

The Listening section is designed to enhance auditory comprehension skills.

* Students are presented with **audio-based or video-based multiple-choice questions**.
* A short audio clip will be provided, which the students need to listen to carefully.
* After listening, they must answer the associated questions.

**Steps to Follow:**

1. Play the provided audio clip.
2. Answer each question based on the content of the audio.

3. Once all questions are answered, click the **Submit** button.

Upon submission, the Listening section icon will turn **green**, indicating that the task has been completed. To view your results, click the **Eye icon** displayed alongside the section.

**2. Speaking Section**

The Speaking section helps students practice pronunciation and oral fluency.

* A sentence will be displayed on the screen, and students need to record themselves reading it aloud.

**Steps to Follow:**

1. Click the **Mic icon** and read the displayed sentence.

2. Play back the recording to review it.
3. If unsatisfied, delete the recording and re-record.
4. Save the recording by clicking the **Save** button.

After completing all the sentences, click the **Submit** button to finish the task.

**Viewing Results:**

* Click the **Eye icon** to view your score.

* For a detailed analysis, access the **AI-powered speech analysis report**, which provides insights into your pronunciation accuracy along with related TOEIC, CEFR, IELTS, and PTE scores.

**3. Reading Section**

This section aims to improve comprehension skills by presenting students with a passage and related questions.

**Steps to Follow:**

1. Read the given passage attentively.
2. Answer the multiple-choice questions based on the passage.

3. Submit your answers by clicking the **Submit** button.

Students can view their scores by clicking the **Eye icon** provided for this section.

**4. Vocabulary and Grammar Sections**

The Vocabulary and Grammar sections feature **drag-and-drop questions** that test the student’s knowledge of word usage and grammatical rules.

**Steps to Follow:**

1. Drag the correct answer from the options provided and drop it into the designated box.

2. After answering all questions, click the **Submit** button to complete the test.

* **Unlimited Attempts:** Students can attempt each ELP section as many times as needed to improve their scores.

  * Completed ELPs: **Green**
