2. Student Journey – From Registration to Report Card

This module outlines the end-to-end journey of a student taking the BET as part of the admission process.

Step-by-Step Guide to the BET Exam

1. Registration

  1. Locate the BET Exam:

    • On the Homepage, click on the Start.

  2. Complete the Registration:

    • Fill out the form with:

      • Full Name (as per school records).

      • Grade (applicable for admission).

      • Parent Name (as per school records).

      • Parent Mobile Number (for contact).

      • Parent Email (for contact).

      • Current School/ Institution Name.

      • Current School/ Institution Location.

      • Registration Number (provided by the school).

    • Click Start Exam to proceed.


2. Attending the Exam

  1. Start the Exam:

    • Review the instructions on the next page, check the acknowledgment box, and click I Am Ready to Begin.

  2. Exam Format:

    • The exam is divided into four sections: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

    • A timer at the top of the screen tracks the allotted time - 15 minutes for Grades 1 to 5 and 30 minutes for Grades 6 to 12.

  3. Navigation:

    • Move between sections and modules using the navigation bar.


  1. Module-Specific Instructions 1. Listening:

  • Listen to the audio by pressing the Play button.

  • Answer the MCQs based on the content.

  • Use Save and Next to proceed or mark answers for review if unsure.

  • Once answers are saved, the corresponding question numbers will turn green, indicating successful submission."

  1. Speaking:

  • Click Start Recording and read the displayed sentence aloud.

  • Use the voice assistance feature for pronunciation guidance, if needed.

  • Save each recording before moving to the next question.

  1. Reading:

    • Read the given passage carefully and answer related MCQs.

    • Scroll to access all questions and click Save and Next after completing.

  2. Writing:

    • Type your response in the provided text area for the writing activity.

    • Focus on grammar, vocabulary, and organization of ideas.

    • Click on Save & Next to save answers.


  1. Submitting the Exam

1.Review and Submit:

  • After completing all sections, review your responses.

  • Click Submit to finalize the test. A summary page will display attempted and pending questions.

  1. Report Card:

  • After submission, the report card will be generated and downloaded automatically.
