The following steps provide a detailed guide to using the AI-powered subjective evaluation feature on the WeXL platform for efficient grading of offline subjective assessments:


Step 1: Create a Question Paper

  1. Access the Platform

  2. Navigate to the Test Repository

    • On the Teacher’s homepage, locate the Navigation Menu on the left.

    • Click Academics > My Test > Test Repository.

  3. Create a New Test

    • Click the +Create Test button.

    • Follow the instructions in the pop-up window and click Next.

    • Fill in the test details:

      • Test Name (e.g., MAT-Physics Test for Math/Science tests).

      • Board, Grade, Number of Questions, and Marks.

      • Select SCHOOL TEST as the test type.

    • Choose the Subject, Chapter, Subtopics, Complexity, and Question Type.

    • Add questions by clicking the + icon and finalize the test by clicking Create.

  4. Edit or Delete

    • You can edit or delete the question paper if needed from the Test Repository.


Step 2: Printing the Question Paper

  1. Go to Academics > My Test > Test Repository.

  2. Locate the test you created and click its name (blue link).

  1. The question paper will open. Click the print icon to print or save.


Step 3: Scheduling the Test

  1. From the Test Repository, click the three dots under the Action column and select Schedule Now.

  1. Set the following details:

  • Grades and students.

  • Start and end date.

  • Duration (e.g., 10–20 minutes for offline tests).

The test is now scheduled.

Step 4: Conducting the Offline Test

  1. Distribute Question Papers

    • Print and distribute the question paper and answer sheet templates to students.

    • You can also display the question paper on a smartboard.

  2. Use Appropriate Answer Sheet Templates

    • Template 1: For English and Social Studies.

    • Template 2: For Math and Science.

    • Ensure students fill in their roll numbers correctly.

  3. Scan the Answer Sheets

    • Collect all answer sheets after the test.

    • Use a scanner to combine the sheets into a single PDF file.

  4. Upload the PDF

    • Go to Academics > My Test > Scheduled Test.

    • Locate the test, click the three dots, and select Upload PDF.

    • Directly click "Upload," then browse and attach your answer sheet PDF.

    • After a few minutes, click "Refresh" to view the data, including page count, question count, student count, date, and status.

    • Optionally, click the three dots in the action column to view the uploaded answer sheets.


Step 5: Result Generation

  1. AI Evaluation

    • After uploading the answer sheets, the AI system will evaluate the responses within 15 minutes.

    • View the results by clicking View More under the Scheduled Test section.

  2. Teacher Review

    • Review the AI-generated marks for each student.

    • Click Evaluate to view individual answer sheets and suggested marks.

  3. Reevaluate or Approve

    • Edit marks if needed or submit them directly if the AI evaluation is satisfactory.

    • Add comments or feedback as necessary.

  4. Use Digital Tools

    • Apply stamps or digital signatures to the evaluated answer sheets.

  5. Submit Results

    • After finalizing, submit the results for students to view.


Step 6: Generate and Download Analysis Reports

  1. Go to My Test > Scheduled Test.

  2. Select the test and click View More.

  3. Download the Student Analysis Report for detailed insights into individual and overall performance.
