How to Conduct an Offline Scheduled Test

Accessing the Scheduled Test Feature

  1. Log in to the WeXL Platform

  2. Navigate to the Scheduled Test Section

    • On the teacher's homepage, find the navigation menu on the left.

    • Click on Academics, then select My Tests to access the Scheduled Test section.


How Scheduled Tests Work

Test Scheduling

  • Teachers can create and schedule a test for the same day, immediately, or for a future date.

  • Scheduled tests are accessible to students only during the assigned time slot and duration.

Downloading the Question Paper

  • Once the test is created, the test name will become a clickable hyperlink.

  • Click on the hyperlink to download the question paper in PDF format.


Conducting the Offline Test

  1. Distribute Question Papers

    • Print and distribute the question paper and answer sheets to students.

    • Alternatively, display the question paper on a smartboard.

  2. Use the Appropriate Answer Sheet Template

    • Template 1: For English and Social Studies.

    • Template 2: For Math and Science.

    • Ensure students correctly fill in their roll numbers on the answer sheet.


Uploading and Evaluating Answer Sheets

  1. Scan the Answer Sheets

    • Collect all answer sheets after the test.

    • Use a scanner to combine them into a single PDF file.

  2. Upload the PDF

    • Navigate to Academics > My Test > Scheduled Test.

    • Locate the test, click on the three dots, and select Upload PDF.

    • Click Upload, browse for the answer sheet PDF, and attach it.

    • After a few minutes, click Refresh to view test details like page count, question count, student count, date, and status.


Result Generation & Evaluation

  1. AI-Powered Evaluation

    • The system will automatically evaluate responses within 15 minutes after uploading the answer sheets.

    • Results can be accessed by clicking View More under the Scheduled Test section.

  2. Teacher Review & Finalization

    • Teachers can review the AI-generated marks for each student.

    • Click Evaluate to review individual answer sheets and adjust marks if necessary.
