Manage Subject Profiles

The Manage Subject Profiles feature in WEXL enables admins to curate customized subject packages, known as subject profiles, to cater to the specific needs of students and institutes. These profiles allow students to access assets like MLPs, Practice Tests, and School Tests relevant to their assigned subjects. For example, an admin can combine IIT and NEET subjects with CBSE subjects into a single profile for students. Here’s how to use this feature step by step:

Step 1: Accessing Manage Subject Profiles

1. Log in to the WEXL platform as an Admin.

2. Navigate to the Administration section using the left-side navigation bar.

1. Click on Manage Subject Profiles.

• Here, you will see a list of all previously created subject profiles, such as NEET 10th Grade Profile or IIT 7th Grade Profile.

Step 2: Creating a New Subject Profile

1. Click on New Subject Profile.

1. Enter the Profile Name:

• For example, if you are creating a package for NEET 6th Grade, enter the name accordingly.

Step 3: Selecting the Institute and Subjects

1. Select the Institute:

   • Choose the institute from which you want to create the subject package.

2. Choose the Board, Grade, and Subjects:

   • Select the Board (e.g., Pudami Board).

   • Select the Grade (e.g., 6th Grade).

   • Choose the Subject (e.g., Chemistry).

   
3. Add Multiple Subjects (Optional):

   • To add another subject from a different institute:

     • Select the Institute (e.g., another institute).

     • Choose the Board (e.g., CS).

     • Select the Subject (e.g., Java Programming).

   • Click on the Add Icon to include multiple subjects in the package.

Step 4: Saving the Subject Profile

1. After selecting all required subjects, click on Save Profile.

1. The newly created subject profile will now appear in the Manage Subject Profiles list.

Step 5: Assigning the Subject Profile

1. To assign the created subject profile, navigate to:

   • Classes – Assign the profile to a particular grade.

   • Sections – Assign the profile to specific sections.

   • Students – Assign the profile to individual students as per their needs.

2. Students can now access only the assets related to the subjects within the assigned profile, ensuring a focused learning experience.
