This guide explains how teachers can assign activities to students using the My Classroom feature.
Log in to the platform.
In the left-side navigation bar, scroll down and click on "My Classroom".
Click on "My Schedules" to view the available classrooms.
Ensure that a classroom is already created before assigning an activity. (Refer to another video for classroom creation.)
Find the classroom where you want to assign an activity.
If the class status is "Not Started", teachers can join the class using the "Join" button.
Click on the "Action" button and select "Assign Activity".
Enter a name for the activity (e.g., "Test").
Select the students who will receive the activity.
Choose the board (CBSE, ICSE, etc.) and grade.
Example: Assign 8th-grade students questions from 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade if needed.
Select the subject (e.g., Mathematics).
Choose the chapter from which questions will be assigned.
The system will display the available question count for the selected chapter.
Teachers can assign one or more activity types:
Practice
Select relevant subtopics (multiple subtopics can be selected).
Use the preview option to verify.
Video
Click the checkbox to enable video selection.
Select the relevant videos from the list.
Test
Adjust the question count if needed.
Use the preview option to verify.
Assignments
Select relevant subtopics.
Choose from:
weXL platform assignments
Teacher-created assignments
Use the preview option to review assignments.
Select a due date for the activity.
Click on "Done" to confirm the selections.
Finally, click "Assign" to complete the process.
A confirmation message "Activity Assigned Successfully" will appear.
Teachers can easily assign practice sessions, videos, tests, and assignments to students through My Classroom by following these steps. The flexible selection options allow for tailored learning experiences based on student needs.
Additionally, this feature helps teachers give special attention to students in need, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance to improve their learning outcomes.
