The **Exam Mark Entry** feature in WEXL ERP empowers teachers to efficiently record, manage, and publish student marks while ensuring transparency and accessibility. This comprehensive tool streamlines the process of entering exam results and provides options for detailed analysis and rechecking before publishing.

**Step-by-Step Guide to Using Exam Mark Entry:**

1. **Login to WEXL**:

   * Open the Chrome browser and go to <https://console.wexledu.com/#/login>.
   * Enter your **username** and **password**, then click **Log In**.

2. **Navigate to the Exam Mark Entry Module**:

   * On the **Home Page**, locate the **Left Navigation Bar**.
   * Scroll down and click on the **Academics** tab.

   * Under Academics, select **Exam Mark Entry** to access the marks management interface.

3. **Apply Filters**:

* Use the filters provided to select the **Board**, **Grade**, **Section**, and **Subject**.
* The system will display the mapped sections and exams for the selected class.

4. **Action Options**:

* Click on the **three dots** next to the exam name under the **Action** column to access these options:

  * **Add Marks**: Begin entering student marks.
  * **Preview**: Check and verify the entered marks before publishing.
  * **Publish**: Finalize and share the marks with students and parents.

5. **Entering Marks**:

* Select the **Add Marks** option to open the mark entry interface.
* By default, all students are marked as present.
* If a student is absent, toggle the **Present/Absent** button to **Absent** and specify the reason for their absence.
* Enter the marks for each student and click **Save**.

6. **Preview and Publish**:

* After saving, select **Preview** to review the marks.

* If any corrections are needed, update them before publishing.
* Once satisfied, click the **three dots** again and select **Publish**. The status will change to Publish.

7. **Sending Notifications**:

   * Once all subject marks are published by the respective subject teachers, an additional option called **Send Notification** becomes available in the **three dots** menu.

   * The **Class Teacher** can use this option to send an in-app notification to parents, informing them that the marks for the particular exam are published and available for viewing.

   * After publishing and notifications, students and parents can view the results through their respective accounts.
