Adaptive Learning

Adaptive Learning on the WeXL Platform

The Adaptive Learning feature empowers teachers to assign content from higher or lower grades, allowing students to either revisit previously learned concepts (step-down learning) or explore advanced material (step-up learning). This personalized approach ensures that students grasp concepts effectively, whether through recall or advanced understanding.

How to Assign Adaptive Learning Content

Step 1: Log in to the WeXL Platform

Step 2: Access Micro-Learning

  • On the teacher's homepage, find the navigation menu on the left side or use the Quick Links on the right.

  • Click on Micro-Learning and then select Management to access the Microlearning repository.

Step 3: Use Adaptive Learning

  • On the Microlearning page, select the Adaptive Learning option.

Step 4: Fill in the Details

  • Provide a suitable name for the MLP.

  • Choose the appropriate board, grade, section, and the student's name by selecting the checkbox next to their name.

Step 5: Special Cases for Assigning Boards

  • Assigning Content Across Boards:

    • In the first section, select the class (e.g., CBSE students) to whom the content will be assigned.

    • In the second section, select the source board, grade, subject, and chapter.

    • Review the learning map of the chapter to choose specific concepts from different grades.

    • Assign the content to the selected students, enabling them to relearn concepts or explore advanced material.

Benefits of Adaptive Learning

  • Step-Down Learning: Students can revisit concepts they have learned in previous grades to strengthen their understanding.

  • Step-Up Learning: Enables advanced students to learn higher-grade concepts, promoting academic growth.

  • Personalized Assignments: Tailored content ensures students progress at their own pace and learning level.

  • Cross-Board Flexibility: Teachers can assign content across different boards (e.g., BSET to CBSE), providing diverse learning experiences.

This feature bridges learning gaps and encourages advanced exploration, ensuring every student achieves their full potential.
