The Generate Question Paper V2 feature allows teachers to efficiently create question papers using customizable blueprints. This version provides enhanced flexibility, enabling teachers to replace questions, assign marks, and add internal choices. Additionally, question papers can be sent for review and published seamlessly.


How to Generate a Question Paper Using V2

Step 1: Log in to the Platform

  • Open Chrome and navigate to WEXL Console.

  • Enter admin credentials and log in.

Step 2: Create a Blueprint

Before generating a question paper, a blueprint must be created. This blueprint acts as a framework for structuring the paper.

  1. Go to Academics > Manage Blueprint.

  1. Click on Create Blueprint and enter the required details:

  • Title (e.g., Mathematics Pre-Board).

  • Total Number of Questions and Total Marks.

  1. Define Sections:

  • Section A: Select MCQs and assign question tags (e.g., Simple, Medium, Complex).

  • Section B: Add Subjective Questions (e.g., Very Short Answer, Short Answer, Long Answer).

  • Section C: Assign SA (Short Answer) Questions with different complexity levels.

  1. Click Add to save each section and finalize by clicking Create.

Step 3: Generate Booklets

Once the blueprint is ready:

  1. Click Edit under the action button.

  1. Select Create Booklet to preview it.

  1. If satisfied, return to Manage Blueprint and click Generate Booklet.

  2. Enter the number of booklets required (e.g., 43 students → 43 booklets will be generated).

  1. Each booklet is assigned a unique code for distribution.

Step 4: Create a Question Paper

  1. Navigate to Generate Question Paper V2.

  1. Click on Generate Question Paper and enter:

  • Title (e.g., Science Pre-Board).

  • Select the blueprint created earlier.

  • Set duration, board, grade, and subject.

  • Choose the chapters to include.

Step 5: Assign Chapters to Questions

  1. Each question must be linked to a specific chapter.

  • Click View More to preview the selected questions.

  • Once finalized, return to Generate Question Paper V2 and click Request for Review.

  • Assign a reviewer (teacher/admin) and send for approval.

Step 7: Publishing and Printing the Question Paper

  • Once reviewed, the question paper can be published for scheduling.

  • Click Preview to view the final paper.

  • Download as a PDF:

    • With Answer Key (for teachers).

    • Without Answer Key (for students).

  • Print and distribute the question paper along with the generated booklets.


Post-Exam: Evaluating Student Answers

Step 1: Upload Student Answer Sheets

  1. Scan student answer sheets into a PDF.

  2. Navigate to My Tests > Scheduled Tests.

  1. Select the test section and students > Click Upload PDF.

  1. Choose Booklet Type and submit.

Step 2: AI-Powered Evaluation

Once uploaded, the system automatically evaluates answers.

  • Teachers can review AI-generated marks and annotations.

  • The section-wise breakdown is available for easy analysis.

Step 3: Test Enrichment & Student Feedback

  1. After evaluation, go to Test Repository > Test Enrichment.

  2. Click View More > Test Enrichment (TT) to analyze incorrect answers.
