How to Create and Schedule a BET Test?

The BET (Basic English Test) assesses students' Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills. In this guide, we will walk through the process of creating, scheduling, and evaluating a BET test on the platform.


Step 1: Creating a Mock Test

1️⃣ Log in as an Admin

  • Navigate to My Tests > Test Repository.

  • Click on Create Test to begin.

2️⃣ Enter Test Details

  • Provide a Test Name (e.g., BET 26).

  • Select the Grade (e.g., 6th Grade).

  • Choose Test Type: Mock Test.

  • Click Next.

3️⃣ Add Sections to the Test The BET test consists of four sections:

  • Listening 🎧 (e.g., 3 questions)

  • Speaking 🗣️ (e.g., 2 questions)

  • Reading 📖 (e.g., Paragraph-based questions)

  • Writing ✍️ (e.g., Subjective-type questions)

4️⃣ Adding Questions to Each Section

  • Click Action > Add Questions for each section.

  • Select Subject, Chapter, Subtopics, and Complexity Level.

  • Choose the appropriate question type:

    • Listening → Audio-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

    • Speaking → Speech-based questions (students record responses).

    • Reading → Paragraph-based questions.

    • Writing → Subjective questions (essay, letter, etc.).

  • Apply Negative Marking if needed.

  • Click Publish once all questions are added.


Step 2: Scheduling the Test

1️⃣ Set the Test Duration

  • Navigate to Schedule Test.

  • Select Start Date & Due Date with time.

  • Assign Duration (e.g., 30 minutes).

  • Click Schedule to make the test available for students.

2️⃣ Student Access

  • Once scheduled, students can access the test under My Institution Test and attempt it within the given timeframe.


Step 3: Evaluating the Test & Viewing Results

Access Student Submissions

  • Go to Academics > My Tests > Scheduled Tests.

  • Locate the BET test and click Action > View More.

  • See the list of students who have attempted the test.

Automated & Manual Evaluation

  • Listening & Reading: Automatically scored.

  • Speaking: AI provides Speech Analysis & Scores.

  • Writing: AI Evaluation

Download Report Cards

  • Once evaluated, click Download to get the BET Score Report.

  • The report includes: ✅ Student NameListening, Speaking, Reading & Writing ScoresSpeech Analysis & Overall Proficiency Level
