Creating a School Test in the Test Repository is a straightforward process that allows teachers to design objective-type tests. Follow these steps to create and schedule a school test:
Access the Test Repository
Navigate to the Test Repository section from the Academics menu on the WeXL platform.
Create a New Test
Click Create Test in the Test Repository.
On the instruction page, select Next to proceed.
Fill Test Details
Provide essential details for the test:
Test Name
Board (e.g., CBSE, ICSE)
Grade
Total Number of Questions
Total Marks
Choose School Test under the Category.
Select the Subject and Chapter
On the Test Creation page, choose the following:
Subject (multiple subjects can be added if needed).
Chapter and Subtopics.
Complexity Level and Question Type (e.g., MCQs or subjective).
Add Questions
Use the three available tabs to add questions:
WeXL Questions: Access a vast library of preloaded questions.
My School Questions: Use questions uploaded by the school management.
My Questions: Add your custom questions.
Click the + symbol next to the desired questions.
After selecting questions, click Next.
Online or Offline Exam Setup
Online Test: Add objective-type questions. Students can take the test online, and the results are auto-generated.
Offline Test with MCQs + Subjective Questions: Add both types of questions. After the test, teachers can upload scanned answer sheets for AI-based evaluation and reporting.
Adjust Negative Marks
On the next page, you can modify the negative marks for any questions if needed.
Create the Test
After reviewing the selected questions and settings, click Create to finalize the test creation.
Publish the Test
The test will be published automatically after creation.
Use the three dots under the Action column for additional options:
Schedule Now: Schedule the test for students.
Answer Sheet: Download templates with student details for offline tests.
Delete: Remove the test from the repository.
Schedule the Test
Once the test is published, you can schedule it for students.
Click the three dots under the Action column and select Schedule Now.
Fill in the following details:
Section
Student Details
Start Date and End Date
Duration of the Exam
Once scheduled, the test will appear on the Scheduled Tests page, ready for students to take.
Download the Question Paper
Once the test is created, the test name will turn into a hyperlink.
Click on the hyperlink to download the question paper in PDF format .
The Test Repository simplifies test creation and management, providing flexibility for teachers to conduct assessments either online or offline. By using this feature, educators can efficiently organize objective or subjective tests, ensuring seamless administration and accurate evaluation.
