The Assets feature in WeXL allows teachers to create, upload, and manage various educational materials that can be used for student learning. Teachers can easily share files, videos, documents, and even links as assets for their students, making learning resources readily available for future lessons.
Step 1: Log in to the WeXL Platform
Open the Chrome browser and navigate to https://console.wexledu.com/#/login.
Enter your credentials and log in to the platform.
Step 2: Navigate to the Assets Section
On the teacher's homepage, locate the navigation menu on the left side.
Select Academics and click on Assets.
Step 3: Create Your Asset
You will be prompted to fill out a form to create your asset:
Asset Name: Give your asset a proper, descriptive name.
Asset Type: Select the appropriate asset type. You have four options:
File: Upload various file types such as .doc, .pdf, .audio, or video files.
Link: Copy and paste a link (e.g., a link to an online resource or video).
Additional Details: Select the Board, Grade, Subject, Chapter, and Subtopics relevant to your asset.
Step 4: Upload and Use Your Asset
After filling out the required fields, upload your file or link to the platform.
You can later assign your created asset in a Micro-Learning Program (MLP) to your students, making it available for them to access and learn from.
By creating and using assets on WeXL, teachers can streamline lesson planning and ensure that students have easy access to relevant learning resources.
