The Happenings Feature in WEXL is designed to keep the entire school community informed and engaged. It provides a streamlined platform for sharing updates on school events, holidays, circulars, and critical announcements with parents, teachers, and students. Whether it’s an upcoming function, a special notice, or an urgent alert, this feature ensures timely and efficient communication across all stakeholders.
Login to WEXL:
Open the Chrome browser and navigate to https://console.wexledu.com/#/login.
Enter your username and password, then click Log In.
Navigate to Notifications:
On the Homepage, locate the bell icon at the top-right corner of the screen.
Click the bell icon to access the Notifications Panel.
Select Notification Type:
In the Notifications Panel, click Send Notifications.
Choose from the following options:
By Grade
By Section
For creating a Happenings notification, you can select either option.
Create and Send Happenings Notifications:
Enter the event name in the Notification Title field.
Select the relevant Grade or Section from the list.
If selecting By Section, choose Select All to include all students in the section.
If selecting By Grade, all students within the grade will be automatically included.
Set Free Text as the Notification Type and Happenings as the Category.
Type the event details in the Message Field.
Attach relevant files related to the event if needed (e.g., PDF circulars or images).
Review the notification for accuracy.
Click Send to deliver the notification to all students in the selected section or grade.
